The Sun, The Rock, The Sea

For once the weather forecast had been right when promising a lot of sun for today.  It was still very windy which can have an impact on climbing but by early afternoon that was gone almost completely and we enjoyed the most fantastic day. Just like one would imagine a day on Sardinia should be like.
Three left the group early this morning going home again. It was quite weird with three people missing at breakfast. But that also ment that we newbies were now the established ones, yeah. Went to a spot right up in the mountain range that surrounds our home Cala Gonone. We could see the village and the blue sea from up there. Fabulous! Climbed a few routes that I never thought I'd manage and just had a lot of fun. Best day so far!!!
I could have stayed all day and just enjoy the view. But with some climbing in between it was just fantastic. Two new girls arrived later who will stay with us for a few days so the group is almost full again.
Went back down to our car with one of the guys and we kind of lost our way picking some paths that led us straight through some bushes with sharp thorns. Argh. With a very broad mixture of various scratches on our legs we arrived back on the street just a few metres from the broader path we should've taken, haha. We didn't tell anyone of our little adventure in the underbush.
Tomorrow is going to be another great adventure as we're going to explore a dry riverbed. Less climbing, only some abseiling, but a lot of great scenery. Really looking forward to it.
