Relaxed Sunday

As we got up as early as 1:30pm yesterday the day felt very short and somehow it felt like we were eating all the time. Had our breakfast at the first possibility and for once avoiding another tourist trap. Went along Keizersgracht with the sun shining in late afternoon and only a few people out - very relaxed.

Entered the photography museum which turned out to be a gallery actually. Unexpected but nice. Some interesting artists although not quite my taste.
Got ourselves another big pancake at the "pancake bakery", the same place we went to yesterday. Checked out the shop at a "cheese museum" trying different kinds of gouda cheese and had a look at the houseboat museum. Will go there today again as it was closed already. Gee, time went by so fast.

So we thought we could just get it over with and have dinner and go home. Went to an Irish pub on Leidseplein. No particular good or bad. Back at the hotel now at 10pm having done basically nothing today and tired anyway. I have no idea when we finally fell asleep the night before. Must have been like 4 or 5 am.

So more to come today on our last day. The houseboat museum and Amsterdam Dungeon are on our list as well as a drive in a paddleboat.
